Dear Friends:

The Auxiliary of Holland Hospital would like to invite you to the West Central District Fall Educational meeting to be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Holland Hospital, 602 Michigan Avenue, Holland MI.

Your agenda and form with map are enclosed.  Please feel free to make extra copies as needed.  We welcome your auxiliary members and volunteers to this meeting and hope you will encourage their attendance.  The auxiliary has a wonderful program planned for us with the CEO from Gilda’s Club and music to soothe us while we come and go.

Since this meeting is held just a few weeks before the MAHA Fall Conference to be held at the Soaring Eagle Conference on October 21-23, 2008, we are asking you to remember to bring along gift items for our WCD basket to be raffled off at the conference.  Connie Lunsford, WCD conference coordinator, will have our basket there for collection.  I have also been asked to request giveaway items for the registration table at the Fall Conference.  Items usually include things from your hospital marketing department, such as pens, letter openers, pill boxes and any other items that would be useful and fun.

I am also looking ahead for host hospitals for the WCD meetings for 2010 and 2011.  If your hospital has not hosted in the recent past and would be willing to do so, please let me know.  Our members always enjoy visiting our member hospitals.  Call, write or send me an e-mail if you are interested in serving as a host.

Our nominating committee is always very thankful for your offer to serve on our board.  We will enclose in your folder a form to offer your service (or a member you think will be interested) for this rewarding year of service.
